Video: Charles Jones Arrested for Impersonating Police Detective to get Free Food at McDonalds

| by Michael Allen

Charles Jones was arrested for allegedly impersonating a police detective in order to get free food from a McDonalds in Scott Township, Pennsylvania.

Sgt. Jeff Skees told WPXI-TV: "He wanted them to believe he was a police officer and on duty so that he could get free food. Kind of ridiculous."

Jones said the charges are a misunderstanding and added that he would tease workers at the McDonalds with his private investigator and security guard badges, but never claimed to be a police detective.

Jones said: "Do I look like I can't afford to buy my own hamburger?"
