Video: Ashley Warden Gets $2,500 Ticket After Son, 3, Urinates in Front Yard

Ashley Warden has been fined $2,500 because her 3-year-old son Dillan urinated in the front yard of their home in Piedmont, Oklahoma (video below).

Dillan is being potty trained, but was playing outside and wasn't near a bathroom, so he decided to go on the lawn, reports News 9.

However, before he could urinate, a police officer stopped him.

Ashley Warden told News 9: "Dillan pulled down his pants to pee outside. I guess and the cop pulled up and asked for my license and told me he was going to give me a ticket for public urination."

Dillan's grandmother Jennifer Warden told News 9: "I said 'really, he is 3 years old,' and 'he said it doesn't matter. It is public urination.' I said 'we are on our property' and he said 'it's in public view.'"

"I am disappointed that the officer thinks... what he needs to do with my tax dollars is sitting and harassing our family."

The Wardens have filed a complaint with the police department, which didn't accept the complaint. Ashley Warden plans on fighting the ticket in court next month since her son didn't actually finish urinating.
