New video has emerged of Alex Crain’s tearful reaction shortly after he shot both of his parents back on Dec. 9, 2010.
In this previously unseen footage from the back of a cop car, Crain, 14 at the time, can be seen weeping and heard quietly saying "I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry, Dad. I swear, I didn't mean to kill them. I didn't even mean to hurt them."
The Florida teen was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison last month, following his decision to plead no contest to a pair of manslaughter charges.
"I shouldn't have done it," he said. "What the f--k is wrong with me? I shot my own parents for no f--king reason."
Crain’s attorneys originally tried to make the case that their client was suffering from mental illness, and that the illness caused him to do what he did; however, it was eventually revealed Crain wasn’t actually suffering from any legitimate mental issues that would explain his heinous crime.
