Two Teen Girls Arrested for Threatening Life of Steubenville Rape Victim (Video)

Two teen girls are in custody after allegedly making death threats against the victim in the rape case in Steubenville, Ohio (video below).

The two teens allegedly threatened to assault and kill the victim via Twitter and Facebook.

A 16-year-old girl is charged with a misdemeanor count of aggravated menacing for threatening the life of the victim on Twitter (pictured). A 15-year-old is charged with one misdemeanor count of menacing for threatening bodily harm to the victim on Facebook, reports

According to WTRF-TV, one teen turned herself in, while the other was arrested by police. The two girls are being held in the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Center.

The threats happened after teen football players Trent Mays, 17, and Ma’lik Richmond, 16, were found guilty on Sunday of raping the 16-year-old girl during a party in 2012.
