Tuscaloosa Police Searching For ‘Drug-Fueled’ Mother Who Deserted Newborn Baby (VIDEO)

Alabama police are appealing to the public in an effort to identify a woman who is wanted on child endangerment charges.

According to reports, officers responded to calls about a drug-fueled mother who walked out of DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa shortly before 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The woman left her newborn baby behind. The child reportedly had cocaine and opium in its system.

The woman allegedly left the hospital with two black males and has a large tattoo in the middle of her chest.

Investigators have filed charges of “chemical endangerment for exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed,” ABC 3340 reported.
