Trial Set For Female Ohio Daycare Worker Accused Of Raping Four Children

A former daycare worker in Elyria, Ohio, will go on trial in June for allegedly raping four children left in her care.

Heather Koon, 25, is accused of raping children at the request of her boyfriend, 34-year-old James Osborne, who is a registered sex offender. Authorities found a video on Koon’s laptop of her "engaging in sexual conduct with an unknown infant."

Osborne is also facing charges stemming from the alleged sexual assaults.

At least two of the incidents took place at ABC Kidz childcare in Elyria.

When she was charged in September, other parents worried that Koon had assaulted their children, too.

"He doesn't like his diaper being changed. He doesn't like being touched ... When I used to drop him off there he used to scream so bad that he would be like hyperventilating," said Andrea Lankey, whose 2-year-old was under Koon's care.

Koon has denied the allegations.

Osborne’s attorney says Osborne did not molest the victims and had no knowledge of the video of Koon’s computer.

Koon’s trial will begin June 23 in Lorain County.
