An 18-year-old male was shot and killed by police officers on Tuesday night after he allegedly brandished a firearm and pointed it at them. Authorities have released surveillance footage of the incident, which they say confirms that the teenager in question, Antonio Martin, posed a legitimate threat.
Shortly after the shooting occurred, Toni Martin, Antonio’s mother, could be seen at the scene weeping over what had transpired. According to The Daily Mail, she complained that that police wouldn’t let her “see her baby” and that the only reason she knew about the incident is because the teen’s girlfriend came and told her.
