After a 16-year-old girl's parents accused him of stalking her, the Maypearl, Texas, chief of police is under investigation for alleged online solicitation of a minor, stalking, and harassment.
Officials suspect that the police chief may have had inappropriate communication with up to five other minors via Facebook and Snapchat, the Daily Mail reported.
While officials have not yet charged or arrested 49-year-old Police Chief Kevin Coffey, he is suspended on paid administrative leave, and rangers searched his house and office on Saturday, seizing his computers, phones, and body camera, which he wore while on duty, according to NBC DFW.
The search warrants allege that Coffey sent sexually explicit messages to the minor who came forward, some of which complimented her breasts and other body parts. His messages were sent on an almost daily basis, according to investigators.

One message had a picture of a remote location where he said he wanted to pull her over and stretch her across the hood of her car. Another message included a photo of himself holding handcuffs captioned, “One of these days hahaha,” according to authorities.
“I’ll cuff [you] and put [you] on the hood again and smack that ass lol,” allegedly reads one of his messages to the girl, according to the Daily Mail.

Maypearl is a roughly 1,000 resident town in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Coffey, who was hired as the police chief two years ago, is also a licensed mental health peace officer and a sexual assault and family violence special investigator. He is also a retired Marine who started his law enforcement career in 1990 in North Carolina, reports the Daily Mail.
