Texas man Cirilo Castillo Jr. broke his leg while attempting to perform a sexual act on a horse in February, police reported.

Castillo, 45, has a history of having sex with horses.

Castillo was warned by a barn owner in Edinburg to stay away from her horses, My San Antonio reports. However, when the owner went inside in the morning of Feb. 17 to feed her animals, she discovered Castillo in one of the stables with a broken leg.

Castillo initially told the woman and investigators he had been struck by a car and crawled into the barn for shelter, though police reported that Castillo was probably kicked in the leg by a horse.

Castillo was taken to the hospital for treatment of his leg, then arrested and taken into custody on June 2 and arraigned the following day. He was charged with criminal trespass. For the crime, which is classified as a Class B misdemeanor, his bail was set at $1,000. Castillo could face up to 180 days in jail.

Castillo has served two sentences for past sexual incidents with horses. In 2013, he tied up a horse and performed a sexual act on her. He was caught on video footage. In 2012, he served a jail term after an incident with a horse classified as public lewdness.
