Police in Atlanta, Georgia, say a teen was found tied up in a vacant home after three people led her to what she believed was a pool party before brutally beating her and then robbing her.

My Fox Atlanta reports police discovered the unnamed 17-year-old girl tied up with a shoelace, an Ethernet cable and clothing. The girl’s mouth had also reportedly been stuffed with a bandana.

“They left her for quite some time before she was able to escape from the location,” Officer Ralph Woolfolk said of the man and his two female friends allegedly responsible.

The male suspect, a work acquaintance of the teen, reportedly invited the girl to a pool party, but instead of bringing her to one, the suspects lead her to the vacant home where they punched her, beat with what “felt like chains,” tied her up, stole her iPhone and shoes, and left her behind.

Police are actively searching for the suspects, and an investigation is still ongoing.
