Cameron Crist-Mitchell, 27, recently resigned from her teaching job at Alvarado Elementary School in Alvarado, Texas after being arrested for allegedly having sex with two teenage students.
According to the Daily Mail, last Thursday, a police officer collected photographs of the reported sexual encounter from a cellphone. Two 17-year-old males claimed they had been involved with Mitchell.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
"She was my son’s teacher in Alvarado for the first half of this school year. Thankfully we had him pulled from this district after Christmas break this year and put him in Cleburne. I was shocked when I heard about this," parent Sharon Nycole Davis wrote on Facebook.
Crist-Mitchell formerly worked at Alvarado's high school where she met the teens.
Under Texas state law, a teacher can be found guilty of having an improper relationship with a student if they engage in sexual contact and if the teacher either works at the same school as the student or within the same school district.
Crist-Mitchell is free after posting bond.
