Tailgate Party Turns Into Wild Brawl (Video)

A wild brawl broke out at a tailgate party before the Texas Tech and University of Texas at El Paso football game on Saturday.

People used their cell phones (video below) and fists in the parking lot of the Las Palmas Lifecare Center, which is near the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Tx.

The initial fight didn't last that long, but the brawl restarted and moved as more people joined the melee.

According 98Kool.com, there were about 50 people involved in the fight.

Darrel Petry, spokesman for the El Paso Police Department, told the El Paso Times, "Officers generated a police report and while at the scene arrested two men with outstanding warrants. The two that were arrested did not appear to be involved in the physical portion of the altercation."

"We are disappointed in the events that transpired, and as a result of the serious incident before Saturday's game, we are assessing public access to this space on game days," Melissa Offutt, of the Las Palmas Medical Center (owner of the Las Palmas Lifecare Center), told KFOX.
