Swedish Woman Arrested for Using Human Skeleton Bones for Sex

A 37-year-old woman was charged with possession of human skulls and bones in her Gothenburg, Sweden apartment, which the prosecution claimed she used for sexual purposes.

The prosecution claimed the unidentified woman used the human body parts “for various sexual activities," reports the newspaper Goeteborgsposten.

The evidence included pictures from a morgue, a drill, body bags as well as two CDs entitled 'My necrophilia'  and 'My first experience.'

The woman was arrested in September, but was formally charged on Tuesday with “violating the peace of the dead," which is punishable by up to two years in jail, reports AFP.

In a post on the web, from a few years ago, the woman reportedly wrote: “My morals set my limits and I’m prepared to take the punishment if something should happen. It’s worth it. I want my man like he is, whether he is dead or alive. He allows me to find sexual happiness on the side."

Prosecutor Kristina Ehrenborg-Staffas told “Some of the photos show a woman licking a skull. We claim it’s her, but she claims it's someone else and that she found the pictures on the internet. She admits to having the bones, but says she collected them out of a historical and archaeological interest."

According to Ehrenborg-Staffas, the woman has also sold skulls over the internet. A court-ordered psychiatric evaluation found the woman to be legally sane.
