Police in Arkansas arrested six people Wednesday after methamphetamine was found in a home being used as a day care.

Officials with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office said an anonymous tip led to a search of the Bethel Heights home, according to KFSM News.

Investigators reportedly found 32 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, used syringes and a gun inside the home on Wednesday.

Authorities learned during the search that home was also being used as a day care, KNWA News reports. Officials have contacted many of the parents whose children were cared for in the home but they believe there may be others.

Deputy Keshia Guyll told KNWA that any parent whose child spent time in the home should contact the Sheriff’s Office.

“There were no kids present when we executed the search warrant however we want parents to be aware of what their children could have been exposed to,” Guyll said. “There's risks involved, we just want them to contact us so we can talk to them about them.”

Guyll told KFSM there were not enough children being cared for in the home to require that the day care be licensed as a business.

Following the search, police arrested the home’s occupants, Christopher Polk, 38, and Courtney Polk, 35, according to KNWA. They face charges of possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized use of property to facilitate crime, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
