According to KTLA-TV, Barillas was charged with child endangerment after police found him allegedly drunk inside the truck while his daughter sat in the back seat. A witness reported seeing Barillas passed out and resting on his steering wheel.
"He appeared to have the symptoms of someone who was intoxicated," Sgt. Jason Zabel told the Los Angeles Daily News. "Then they discovered the toddler in the back seat. The child was cold and shivering."
