San Diego Woman Kathy Rowe Charged In Rape "Prank"
After San Diego woman Kathy Rowe lost her dream house to another family, she allegedly carried out an elaborate scheme to have the new home owner raped.
Rowe now claims the scheme was a childish prank that got out of hand.
The 52-year-old began by reportedly stopping the couple’s mail and sending religious missionaries to their doorstep. Then, her antics became criminal.
Rowe allegedly posed as the wife on an adult entertainment website and invited men to come to the home to perform rape fantasies.
“I love to be surprised and have a man just show up at my door and force his way in the door and on me,” Rowe wrote to one respondent.
One man showed up twice to the house, but was discouraged on his first visit by a locked gate and the woman’s husband on his second visit.
Last week, the state appeals court ruled that Rowe must answer to felony counts of solicitation of rape and solicitation of sodomy.
