Richard Fleener II Arrested For Stealing Grandmother’s Wheelchair (Video)

| by

A South Carolina man has been arrested for stealing money from his grandmother. As if that wasn’t enough, Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies also say that 43-year-old Richard Fleener II took his 78-year-old grandmother’s electric wheelchair.

Apparently Fleener was living with his elderly relative from November until February. During that time span he stole so much money that the electric company shut off his grandmother’s power. He is charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult, WLTX reported.

In addition to taking the cash and the wheelchair, Fleener also made off with his grandmother’s television and window air conditioning unit. It is unclear if he has hired an attorney at this point.
