California Man Arrested After Former Students Accuse Him Of Child Molestation

A retired middle school teacher has been arrested on charges of child molestation and possession of child pornography.

David Bruce, 65, was arrested Tuesday in his Anaheim, California, home after police served a search warrant, CBS Los Angeles reported.

Bruce, who was a former drama teacher at Sycamore Junior High School for nearly 20 years, was booked on two counts of child molestation and one count of possession of child pornography. He was released on $100,000 bail.

Investigators said the crimes occurred while the two victims were students at Sycamore. Both victims are adults now.

Bruce started teaching at Sycamore in Oct. 1981. He retired in 2010 and continued to work as a substitute teacher through 2013, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

Police are now asking for any other victims to come forward.
