Report: Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle Paid For Sex With 16-Year-Old Girl

According to court documents subpoenaed by the FBI, former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is said to have admitted to a woman via text message that he paid for sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Emerging in the middle of a federal child pornography probe that has yet to result in charges, the texts reportedly found Fogle — in April of 2008 — requesting that a female Subway franchisee advertise herself on Craigslist for sex with other men.

“Is this the same website you found that 16 year old you [sic] that you f---ed?” the woman asked in response. “I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”

“It was amazing!!!!” Fogle wrote back.

“What part of her ad made you think she was selling sex?” the woman responded.

“U will have to read them to see,” Fogle said. At the time of the exchange, Fogle and the franchisee were allegedly having a sexual relationship.

According to reports, the woman told corporate management about Fogle’s admission. They ultimately declined to do anything about it, and have no record of her complaints on file.

“She also specifically warned them that he should not be interacting with young people,” the woman’s attorney said.

Fogle’s home was raided in July after Russell Taylor, a friend and business associate, was arrested in a child pornography case. Fogle’s ties with Subway were severed as a result of the controversy.
