Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) tweeted a disturbing message on Twitter today in response to the the guilty verdict in the Jodi Arias murder trial, notes

Arias was found guilty of murdering her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, who died of one gun shot and 27 stab wounds.

Not too long after the verdict was read, Rep. Stockman tweeted: "Right now Jodi Arias is regretting not killing an ambassador or Philadelphia infant."

Apparently, Rep. Stockman was referring to the tragic murder of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens in Libya and the infants that were allegedly murdered by Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who is currently on trial.

The implication appears to be that Dr. Gosnell and the murderers of Ambassador Stevens will not be held responsible, as Arias was today.

In contrast to Rep. Stockman, HLN's Nancy Grace was almost moved to tears as were Alexanders' family and friends (video below).

Grace stated: "Guilty, guilty of murder one in the death, the slaughter, of unarmed Travis Alexander."
