There have been a number of disturbing reactions to the cold-blooded murders of New York Police Department Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, but a video recently posted online shows a group of activists cheering the horrific deaths.

The footage shows protesters in St. Louis, Missouri, taunting police and celebrating the murders of the two NYPD officers. Bassem Masri, an outspoken protester of the shootings of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, reportedly leads the group as they chant, “Pigs in a blanket! Fry them like bacon!”

Masri has become known recently for live streaming protests on the website Ustream, and the recent video that’s surfaced of him celebrating the deaths of Ramos and Liu has been met with intense criticism – none of which has seemed to phase him.

“They offended about the ‘Pigs in a Blanket’ chant, then applaud #IamDarrenWilson bracelets & constant demonization of every1 In their way #Ferguson,” Masri tweeted.

Later, Masri seemed to change his tune a bit.

“I can't speak4why the guy did what he did in NY,” Masri tweeted. “For future references we in #Ferguson dont want any 1 2 die at all. keep the moral high ground.”
