Pregnant Woman Injured In 'Knockout Game' Attack (Video)

| by Dominic Kelly

A 34-year-old pregnant woman from Brooklyn was assaulted this week as she was walking down the street.

Reports say that Jannatul Ferdous, who is six months pregnant, was walking down the street with her sister in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn when, out of nowhere, a man came up behind her and knocked her out with one hit. He immediately fled the scene.

Thankfully, neither Ferdous nor her unborn child was seriously harmed during the random attack, although the 34-year-old was reportedly unconscious for some time. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Ferdous’ sister was able to call the police and give them a description of the attacker, and later on, authorities arrested 33-year-old Willie Stephens.
