The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed a call came from supermodel Kendall Jenner's home at 1:15 a.m. on March 15, claiming $200,000 worth of jewelry was missing.
Since the start of 2017, a wave of home burglaries has hit some of Hollywood's biggest stars, including rapper Nicki Minaj, LA Laker's player Nick Young, LA Dodgers' player Yasiel Puig and singer Alanis Morissette. Morissette had a safe stolen from her home that reportedly contained $2 million worth of valuables, The Hollywood Reporter writes.
Jenner's incident is the most recent of the thefts, but sources tell TMZ that it's not linked to the other burglaries.
Many news sites were claiming Jenner was not home between the hours of noon and 8 p.m., when the burglary is said to have happened. It wasn't until 1:15 a.m. that Jenner went into her room and noticed some jewelry was missing.

This would leave the time between 8 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. unexplained.
She called the police, who arrived to the scene, checked the premises, noticed there were no signs of forced entry and confirmed her safety.
Jenny Houser, LAPD's spokesperson, stated that a police report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing, E! News reported.
But TMZ's law enforcement sources claim the current publicized story is false.
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true:
Specifically, the source claimed Jenner was hosting a party the night of the incident. And when an alarm went off, warning that someone opened a door, Jenner reportedly disregarded it. She proceeded to leave the house at midnight until 1 a.m., and upon her return allegedly noticed the open jewelry box, which prompted her to call the police.
In line with other reports, TMZ sources also claim that there was no sign of forced entry, but that whoever did steal the reality star's $200,000 worth of jewelry knew exactly where she kept it.
With this new information taken into account, the incident would not be considered a burglary, but rather a theft by someone who knows the victim. This would mean it's not part of the other break-ins that have happened recently.
This crime against the Jenner sister came only five months after her half-sister, Kim Kardashian West, was attacked and robbed in a hotel room in Paris.
According to Rolling Stone, Kardashian West was allegedly tied up, gagged and held at gunpoint by a group of five robbers that managed to leave her room with $10 million worth of jewelry, including the second engagement ring given to her by her husband, rapper Kanye West.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star will be opening up about her experience in Paris in an upcoming episode.
