Police have released a picture that appears to be former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez holding a black handgun only minutes after the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
The picture is from a security camera at Hernandez’s North Attleboro, Mass., home.
Investigators claim more images show Hernandez getting out of his car with Ernest Wallace about 10-15 minutes after Lloyd was shot and killed with a .45 caliber handgun less than a mile away in an industrial park.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Lloyd, who was found dead on June 17.
According to prosecutors, after Hernandez was charged in June, he got rid of the gun and destroyed his home surveillance system, notes CBS Boston.
It is not clear how the images survived.
