Pennsylvania Man Charged With Assault For Tattooing 12-Year-Old With Smiley Face and Rude Word

A man from Centerville, Pennsylvania has been charged with aggravated assault for tattooing a smiley face and a bad word on a 12-year-old girl’s arm.

The Associated Press reports that Randall Charlton III, 33, tattooed a smiley face with a “derogatory word” below it on the girl’s left forearm. He faces multiple charges, including “corruption of a minor,” according to local news source the Erie Times-News.

Pennsylvania State Police said that Charlton did the tacky tat when the girl was spending the night at his home on Wednesday.

Charlton, who was unable to post the $20,000 bail, is behind bars in Crawford County prison on charges of felony aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, corruption of a minor, simple assault and tattooing a minor. No lawyer is listed for him.
