British Pedophile Travels 150 Miles With Baby Oil And Chocolate To Visit 6-Year-Old Girl, Gets Biggest Shock Of His Life

| by Zara Zhi

A convicted pedophile has been sentenced to more than six years in prison after he traveled 150 miles to sexually abuse a 6-year-old girl.

Colin Page arrived at Rochester railway station in Kent, England with baby oil, chocolates and jewelry, but was arrested by Kent Police officers, who were waiting for him.

The 50-year-old was caught after he set out to the meet the girl through a police officer pretending to be the girl’s mother.

The officer had been working for Kent Police’s pedophile online investigation team, which pinpointed when and where he was arriving.

Page previously served four years in prison for sexually molesting a young girl in 1995, reports the Birmingham Mail. Later, he violated sex offender notification requirements twice.

Page traveled from Birmingham to Rochester on Dec. 6, 2015. He was charged the same day with two counts of organizing a child sex abuse crime.

Page pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison by Maidstone Crown Court. The judge presiding over the case called Page a dangerous man and said he was a serious threat to children.

Page will be required to serve two-thirds of the six-year, eight-month sentence before being considered for release. Page will also be on parole for another four years, reports the Mirror.

The judge also enacted a sexual harm prevention mandate, which means Paige will indefinitely appear on the sex offenders register.

“Police use a number of methods to help identify people who prey on children and have a desire to sexually abuse them,” said Detective Constable Jon Baker, of Kent Police’s pedophile online investigation team.

“Due to the team’s online investigations, Page was swiftly identified and is now behind bars and away from the public.”
