Tommy Issachar, pastor of All Nations Evangelical Church in Lagos, Nigeria, was accused of stealing two panties, one bra and money from a female church member earlier this month.

Issachar pleaded not guilty, according to Vanguard News.

The unidentified woman and her husband had the 25-year-old pastor stay in their home for three nights while he attended a religious conference.

However, after Issachar left, the husband and wife discovered the alleged theft on April 12.

After the woman got her clothing back from Issachar, he allegedly sent her threatening text messages.

“At first, the accused denied taking those underwears, but later confessed that he actually took them. He said that he wanted to use them to pray for her, but denied taking the money,” said  Cpl. Kehinde Olatunde, the prosecutor.
