Packing Heat at Occupy Wall Street: Protester had Gun, Ammo

| by Mark Berman Opposing Views

Occupy Wall Street protesters like to think of themselves as peaceful folk, but they may have to rethink that now that one of them has been busted for allegedly having a gun and dozens of rounds of ammo.

According to a report in the New York Post, a 32-year-old man named Joshua Fellows was initially arrested last Thursday and charged with reckless driving for allegedly allowing some 40 people to jump in and out of his rental truck as he drove around the protest in Manhattan.

Police seized the truck and say they later found a gun and 32 rounds of ammunition inside. Cops found Fellows on Saturday and arrested him again. Now he faces more serious charges of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned and released.

Fellows is from Youngstown Ohio and rented the truck in North Carolina.
