A Pennsylvania teen admitted to shooting a cab driver in Scranton because he wouldn’t follow his directions, police said.

Aazis Richardson, 16, told Scranton police that he shot Vincent Darbenzio, 47, twice in the back of the head early Friday.

"That's what I do to people that don't listen," Richardson told a crowded hall of reports at police department headquarters, according to The Times-Tribune.

He was charged with murder and robbery and is being held without bail at Lackawanna County Prison.

When reporters asked if he shot Darbenzio, the handcuffed teen replied “yeah.”

Darbenzio picked up Richardson around 3 a.m. Friday. After the shooting, Richardson stole $500 from the victim's body and fled, police said.

Investigator traced the phone number used to call the cab and found Richardson hiding in an attic.

Richardson claims to be a member of the Boyton Boys gang, a sect of the Bloods in Newark, N.J. Police say he was previously a suspect in a triple homicide in Newark.
