Oregon woman Elizabeth Monda-Guthrie was sentenced to 20 days in jail after she admitted to having sex with an underage Boy Scout.
The 28-year-old worked for a Boy Scout program in Marion County, according to court documents. Though she originally pleaded not guilty to the original charge, she later admitted on Monday to engaging in sexuality activity with a 16-year-old in October 2014.
The teen told police that he and Monda-Guthrie agreed to keep their relationship a secret and that they had sex every couple of days beginning August 14, 2014. The duo reportedly had sex at the Marion County camp and once at the teen’s house.
Monda-Guthrie will be required to register as a sex offender.
