Oklahoma Beheading: Man In Custody For Wednesday's Homicide

| by Charles Roberts

Police in Stillwater, Oklahoma, announced today that a suspect has been arrested in a beheading that occurred on Wednesday.

According to KTUL, officials arrested and charged Isaiah Marin with the murder Jacob Andrew Crockett. Marin allegedly used a sharp object of some sort to detach 19-year-old Crockett’s head from his body.

Officers showed up to an apartment building on the 400 block of Oakdale shortly after getting a call at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday informing them that a murder had just occurred. When they arrived, the police reportedly found Marin covered in blood.

KTUL reports that Marin allegedly told authorities he had “fantasies about murdering multiple people.”

Reports note that Crockett is the son of a highway patrol trooper – but that has not yet been confirmed.
