Ohio Police Bust Family-Run Cocaine Trafficking Ring

Two cousins allegedly ran a cocaine ring out of their grandmother’s home in Elyria, Ohio. All together, 30 relatives have been arrested in connection with the operation.

Detectives with the Elyria Police Narcotics Unit, Lorain Police Narcotics Bureau and the Lorain County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force executed 12 search warrants on March 13 and five more on March 16, Fox 8 Cleveland reported. Investigators found more than 3,300 grams of cocaine, over 97 grams of marijuana, 20 grams of heroin, five handguns, 10 cars and over $84,100 in cash.

Officers began investigating the the Burns, Milton and Tillman families in February. Cousins Jarvis Burns, 33, and Travis Milton, 32, allegedly ran the business together out of their grandmother’s home.

Most of the 30 suspects who were arrested lived in Elyria. The oldest suspect, Grace L. Milton, is 67. The youngest is Jordan Silva, 19.
