A New Orleans man was robbed at gun point for all the change in his pocket, a total of 78 cents, as he was walking home early Sunday, police said.

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for an African American suspect who approached the victim on a bike as he walked home from a South Claiborne gas station at 2:20 a.m.

The victim said the robber pointed a semi-automatic handgun at him and said “give me your change.”

All he had was 78 cents, the change from his purchase at the gas station.

The robber then rode away on Amelia Street. He was reportedly wearing dark clothes and a dark knit cap or hoodie.
