New Jersey man Ibn Hunter, 25, was taken down by a police officer and jailed on Oct. 19 after he was allegedly caught on video (below) beating a homeless woman.

A man, believed to be Hunter, can be seen in video footage getting ready to hit a 45-year-old woman. The man looks at the camera, then hits the woman.

“This is what happens when you say I ain’t gonna smack you,” the man says to the camera.

The woman was sent to the hospital following the attack, the NY Daily News reports. The now-deleted video was uploaded online and posted to Facebook on Oct. 16.

“That’s how these situations are handled, you take their feet out from under them,” Warden Geraldine Cohen told local media, according to TheBlaze.

Hunter was charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a law enforcement officer. He is currently being held on $100,000 bail.

Authorities are now looking for the person who recorded the video of Hunter for questioning. Although the video was originally uploaded to Facebook, it has since been deleted on that platform.
