New Hampshire Police Accused of Beating Man After DWI Arrest (Video)

Mike “MJB” Bergeron is threatening to sue police because of a beating he endured after a DWI arrest in Seabrook, N. H. on Nov. 11, 2009.

Bergeron, an aspiring rapper, recently posted a surveillance video (below) on YouTube in which a police officer shoves him face-first into a concrete wall, notes

The shirtless Bergeron loses his pants after the wall incident, and is clad only in underwear when the officer takes him off-camera.

An alleged pepper spraying by the police officer is not visible on video, but two other officers laugh and smirk at whatever is going on off-camera.

In response to the video posted on Monday, Seabrook Town Manager Bill Manzi told that three of the officers shown in the video "have been placed on administrative leave" pending a "comprehensive investigation into the incident."

Bergeron claimed that when he reached for his wallet the "officer with the glasses came at me saying he never told me I could take my stuff and choked me against the wall then tried to grab the wallet from my pocket. Once he got the wallet and my phone this is what happened.”

Bergeron had not filed suit for earlier because his former lawyer took the video tapes and disappeared for several years.

“I finally tracked him down and [got] it back, but now I think [it’s too] late to do anything with it, even though I have a permanent lump on the back of my head chipped teeth and brain injuries, but [I'm] talking to a lawyer soon [we’ll] see what happens,” added Bergeron.
