Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (R) recently appeared on 'Ralston Reports,' where she proposed having an "armed employee" at K-12 public schools (video below).

Fiore was answering a question by host Jon Ralston on how to prevent mass shootings at schools, such as the one that occurred on Friday at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, reports

Fiore said: "My campus carry bill goes in the higher education, it doesn’t go K-12, so looking at this tragedy that happened with K-12, we might have to have an armed employee at the schools, that’s a measure, that’s a measure."

Mother Jones reported that of the 61 mass murders over the last 30 years: "not a single case was the killing stopped by a civilian using a gun.”
