In Crofton, Maryland, Neil Prescott (picture below) was arrested by police after threatening to shoot up Pitney Bowes, the company that recently fired him.
When arrested on Thursday, Prescott was wearing a T-shirt that read "Guns don't kill people. I do."
According to a search warrant, Prescott told his ex-supervisor: "'I'm a joker and I'm gonna load my guns and blow everybody up."
His threats were allegedly made multiple times this week. Police, who searched Prescott's apartment, found thousands rounds of ammunition, one assault rifle, two shotguns, nine handguns and three rifles.
According to the Daily Mail, Prescott is receiving a psychiatric evaluation and criminal charges are still pending.
Prince George's County Police Chief Mark Magaw told the Daily Mail: "We can't measure what was prevented here, but was going on over the last 36 hours was a significant incident in the county. And we think a violent episode was avoided."
