'My Wife Is A Cheater' Written On A Home Set On Fire

| by Amanda Andrade-Rhoades

A home in Arvada, Colorado, was set on fire early Tuesday morning, but authorities didn’t have to look far for an explanation.

“My wife is a cheater” was written in spray paint multiple times on the home's walls. A man’s name was also written on the home, but KUSA-TV has decided not to disclose it.

No one was home when the fire ripped through the property, and the case remains under investigation.

Deanna Harrington with the Arvada Fire Department told The Denver Channel that the debris and patio furniture found in the street indicates there was an explosion, but the cause has not been determined.

A neighbor told reporters that everyone was worried about the welfare of the children who live in the home immediately after the explosion; however, they were not present at the time of the incident.

William Lindauer III, 31, a resident of the home, was arrested for first-degree arson. Lindauer's wife sought a divorce in October 2013, and it was completed on Feb. 18, 2014.
