Mother And Young Son Confront Man Caught Taking Upskirt Video Of Teenage Girl

| by Brendan Kelly

A mother and her son, plus two other shoppers at a Sterling Heights, Michigan, Walmart, teamed up to stop a man from getting away after he was caught allegedly taking upskirt videos of a teenage girl.

When Anna Rubley saw a man trying to take inappropriate videos of her 13-year-old daughter at Walmart, she confronted him and subdued him with the help of her youngest son and two other shoppers.

Robert Sikorski, 58, was caught by Rubley trying to take photos and video with his smartphone up the 13-year-old's skirt. The mother of five noticed the man kneeling down to take the pictures when she confronted him.

"I jumped right in front of him at that point and I confronted him," said Rubley. "I asked him 'Are you videotaping my daughter?' and he goes 'No, I would never do that.' I said 'Give me your phone.' He goes, 'No.' I said 'Give it to me' and I grabbed the phone."

When Sikorski tried to run away, Rubley's youngest son pushed the shopping cart at him and two customers stepped in to help stop him from escaping.

Rubley said that her young son told the man, "You mess with my sister, you mess with me."

Police arrived soon after and Sikorski was charged with capturing and distributing images of an unclothed person. He doesn't have a prior record, but investigators believe that he could have done this before.

Michigan police believe that there are other victims and are asking anyone who thinks this may have happened to them to come forward.
