Mom Accused of Allowing, Directing Husband to Abuse Daughters

| by Michael Allen

Anne Ladd is accused of allowing her white supremacist husband, Justin Ladd, to abuse and torture her Latina daughters in their North Andover, Massachusetts, home.

According to Salem News, Anne was recently charged with two counts of "permitting assault and battery on a child, permitting assault and battery on a child causing serious bodily injury, and two counts of child endangerment."

Justin (pictured) was charged with 41 counts of abuse and torture of his stepdaughters back in May (video below).

He allegedly assaulted the girls with a hammer, belts and pieces of wood. Justin is also accused of pulling the girls' tongues with pliers and threatening to have them raped by a motorcycle gang.

Assistant District Attorney Kate MacDougall said that Justin also allegedly made the girls “dance around like monkeys," threatened to “beat the black out of them" and exposed his genitalia to them.

Anne was allegedly aware of the abuse and even directed it from September of 2008 to February of 2013.

RawStory.com reports that Justin pretended to be dependent on a wheelchair and oxygen tank when questioned by investigators, but would take off the oxygen mask, light up a cigarette and get out of his wheelchair when he thought authorities had left.

The girls, now ages 14 and 16, are in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.

Anne chose to stand by her husband in court in May and “maintained her daughters were liars,” added MacDougall.
