Missouri Police Search For Missing Girl After Her Mother Received A Terrifying Call

Police in Versailles, Missouri, are searching for a 16-year-old girl who disappeared shortly after her mother received a terrifying call.

Kiaira Lazae Burris was last seen leaving a McDonald’s near the 100th block of Fairgrounds Road around 3 p.m. on June 23. She was interacting with an unknown person who owned a gray Chevrolet Malibu with unrecognizable registration. The car also had tinted windows and damage to the front end.

The same vehicle was last seen on June 23 around 7 p.m. in Columbia, Missouri.

Around 9:30 p.m. that night, Kiaira's mother received a terrifying phone call from her daughter through an unknown phone number. Kiaira was crying when she called and was soon replaced by a man. He allegedly repeated, “I hid the body” before hanging up the phone.

Burris is a black female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 175 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a rose tattoo on her left arm. She was last seen wearing a brown sundress with sandals and pearls. She was carrying a backpack full of clothes.
