Michigan man Paul Randal Miluk was sentenced to 180 days in jail and five years probation after admitting to drugging and raping an unconscious woman.

The 55-year-old, who admitted to drugging the woman without her knowledge more than once, was sentenced by Judge Dennis Wiley on Monday morning in Berrien County Court in Niles.

Miluk pleaded guilty to three felony charges including delivery of a controlled substance to commit criminal sexual conduct, fourth degree criminal sexual conduct and false report of a felony. Previously, Miluk staged a home invasion, in which his Ipad and Iphone went missing, to distract police from an investigation into his crimes. However, he later admitted that it was a false report.

Miluk was a radiologist, though the state revoked his license, and often volunteered to help area veterans. He worked in Kalamazoo.

“All of these good things you have done for others in your life are commendable,” Wiley said. “Unfortunately, all of the good you’ve done has come to a screeching halt.”

Miluk must now register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and has been banned from all social media websites. He has also been forbidden to see the victim.
