Maryland Man Stabbed Coworker For Stealing Meatball, Police Say

A Maryland man stabbed a coworker in the arm for stealing a meatball from his lunch, according to police.

The 31-year-old man from Edgewood, who was not identified, fled before deputies arrived at the Fallston company’s canteen on Thursday.

The 36-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital and later discharged, the Baltimore Sun reported.

Charges are pending against the suspect, according to Harford County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Cristie Kahler.

Kahler said the men had gotten into a spat after the victim allegedly stole a meatball.
