A Salisbury, Maryland, man was arrested and charged with child abuse and assault following accusations that he physically attacked his 5-year-old nephew for playing with his Pokemon cards, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said.

Kyle Burford, 29, reportedly caught his nephew using his Pokemon cards, prompting him to become upset and hit the boy. The strike was hard enough to knock the 5-year-old off of his feet and into a wall.

Buford, who lives in the same house as his nephew, was taken into custody on Dec. 22 and slapped with charges of second-degree child abuse and second-degree assault, according to CBS Baltimore. He is being held on $20,000 bond.
