Man Shoves AR-15 Assault Rifle Down Pants, Walks Out of Walmart

An unidentified man reportedly stole an AR-15 rifle and 150 rounds of ammunition from a Walmart store in Asheville, N.C., last Tuesday.

According to, the thief broke into a gun safe in the sporting goods section of the store.

However, it's not clear how he broke into the safe or if it was unlocked.

A surveillance video caught the man shoving the assault weapon down his pants.

WLOS reports that the suspect "was wearing a white and blue baseball cap, white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black jacket. The suspect may be traveling in a white, newer model, four-door sedan."

The Asheville Police Department says the AR-15 and the ammunition were worth $920.
