Man Sexually Assaults Four-Year-Old Girl On Bus During Ride Home From Registering As A Sex Offender

A convicted sex offender was on the way home from registering as such when he reportedly fondled a young girl on a Chicago bus.

According to reports, 32-year-old Judex Colon had just completed his required weekly sex offender registration and boarded a bus outside of the police station to head back home. While on the bus, Colon allegedly sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl as she was traveling with relatives.

The state attorney’s office said in a statement that Colon, “placed his hands on the victim over her clothes and then lifted the child’s jacket and continued to inappropriately touch and rub the victim.” The young girl reported urinated on herself because she was so afraid, and after he was done, Colon left the bus and ran away.

Colon was arrested on Wednesday, and during a lineup with a family member of the girl, he was identified as the man who touched the four-year-old.

In 2008, Colon was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 13, and back in 2013, he was also sentenced to two years in prison failing to register as a sex offender.

Now, Colon is being held without bail on charges of sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
