| by Kathryn Schroeder

A Donora, Pennsylvania, man was arrested on his wedding night for allegedly assaulting his new bride in their home.

At around 1 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to the home of David Wachinski, 31, and Katie Thompson over a domestic dispute.

According to Thompson, she and Wachinski began arguing as soon as they returned home from their wedding, reports The Daily Mail. Wachinski allegedly hit Thompson in the face and kicked her in the ribs.

Wachinski then reportedly threw a male friend, William Thieret, into a wall, which caused a hole and knocked down a flat screen TV.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

When police arrived, Wachinski was being held down on the floor by Thieret.

Wachinski told police to get out of his house, and allegedly grabbed an officer by the leg and tried to pull him to the floor, reports CBS Pittsburgh.

Another officer had to use a Taser on Wachinski to subdue him as he continued to fight with police.

Thompson said in the criminal complaint that they both had been drinking at the wedding reception and that Wachinski had a lot to drink.

Thompson does not know if she lost consciousness during the fight.

Wachinski was charged with simple assault, harassment, and public drunkenness. He was released from the Washington County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
