Man Arrested After Telling Children that Santa Claus Isn't Real
An unidentified man, who had his hair gelled to look as though he had devil horns, was arrested by police in Kingston, Canada, during the annual Santa Claus parade last week.
The man, who told nearby children there was no Santa Claus, faces criminal charges of causing a disturbance by being drunk and violating probation.
Const. Steve Koopman told the Toronto Star: “It was pretty despicable that someone, during this time of the year, would tell kids Santa isn’t real, which of course we would argue."
It was not known how the man pleaded to the charges, or whether Santa will be bringing him a piece of coal.
