A bizarre incident happened last Thursday night at a popular gay bar in Minneapolis, Minn.
According to Tyler Erickson, a security guard at the Saloon bar, Wayne Odegard started harassing customers who were “holding hands."
“He made a disrespectful comment towards the homosexual community, towards a couple that was holding hands and he obviously didn't appreciate that,” Erickson told KMSP (video below).
Odegard's then allegedly fired a CO2-powered BB gun at another gay couple.
“I ran after him and then it ended up he shot a different gay couple in the leg, with that gun and it went through his jeans and drew blood,” Erickson added.
Erickson caught Odegard, who ran out of the bar, and called the police.
“He told me multiple times that I'm going to go to hell and he's going to bring me with him,” Erickson recalled. “He recited a biblical passage, I think it's a Deuteronomy passage.”
Popular VideoSNL is not a fan of the Trump administration, and it shows with every new skit they produce. Do you think they need to tone it down?
“Even if the guy was shot with the same CO2 powered BB gun in the face it would've gone right through his cheek."
According to Towleroad.com, the gay couple who were allegedly shot by the BB gun were from Brooklyn and Philadelphia, and it was ironic that this happened to them in Minneapolis, which prides itself on being a progressive city.
Odegard was charged with second-degree assault and gun possession.
