A South Carolina man is accused of decapitating a puppy in front of his girlfriend and her two children.
The alleged incident happened on Oct. 10 at approximately 3:14 a.m at a home in Aiken, South Carolina, according to KWQC.
According to a report by the Aiken Department of Public Safety, Tarsha Hankinson, 37, told officers that her boyfriend Xavier Quattlebaum, 25, "arrived home under the influence of narcotics and just beheaded several puppies and was within the residence wielding a knife with her children."
Officers claim Quattlebaum appeared under the influence of alcohol and was unwilling to cooperate with them when they found him in his vehicle in the driveway of the residence.

The children, aged 7 and 10, told police the incident began when Quattlebaum became upset during an argument with Hankinson. The children said he then proceeded to cut of the head off one of their puppies with a kitchen knife in front her and them.
Hankinson told police she then fled the home to contact the police, while Quattlebaum got rid of the puppy's body.
Officers inspected the rear bedroom of the home where the alleged incident occurred, and found a blood-stained rug at the center of the room and a large knife covered in blood and animal fur on top of a dresser.
